I bought a mixer to make cookies. Sick Cookies, that is. Anyway, using a mixer once a year didn’t warrant my $200, so I spent $65 at target on a sunbeam with a 350-watt moter and 4 quart bowl. Made 9 batches of cookies tonight and it worked great!

Easy to clean and work with.

Look what others are saying about the Sunbeam 2379 Mixmaster:

I bought this mixer in lieu of a Kitchen Aid, mainly due to its flexibility. This mixer easily snaps together for use and easily breaks down for storage in a deep kitchen drawer. It is also lightweight, making it quite portable, but built so that it doesn’t move all over the counter when in use. As far as use goes, it whips cream into butter without any effort or supervision on my part in about 15 minutes. I love that the bowls lock onto the base and cannot be easily shifted when adding ingredients to a batter. Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I did not anticipate that I would like it better than my old Kitchen Aid.

Look what one of the customer had to say :

“I had to replace my 20 year-old Sunbeam mixer last month and since I didn’t want to spend $200-300+ on the Kitchen Aid I decided to go with what I had already experienced and so far I have been pleased. I chose this model because it came with glass bowls, the whisk attachments, as well as the dough hooks. The large glass bowl is a little heavy to handle when full but I like the glass option in case I want to put it in the microwave. My old bowls also fit in this mixer so sometimes I use those. I have made bread with the dough hooks and they worked pretty well mixing in all the flour as long as I scraped the bowl periodically. I like that the beaters don’t have a “stem” going down through the middle; they’re easier to clean. The mixer portion of the machine comes off so it’s fairly easy to store.”
